Martha Woodard Andrus
Martha Woodard Andrus, a Grambling native who received a B.S. degree from GSU in 1960, is currently Mayor of the City of Grambling. She also attended Southern University in 1967 where she received the MST Biology degree. She also attended LSU and the Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO (post graduate studies).
She previously was an instructor at GSU, School of Nursing. Numerous honors include The Links and INC Extraordinary Award, 2003. She has published Grambling’s First Mayor: The Man-The Movement, 1996.
