Dr. Glenda Smith Starr
Dr. Glenda Smith Starr is former Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs with GSU. A Monroe native, she has received the Ph.D.-Educational Leadership from The Union Institute in 1999. She also attended LA Tech in 1971 and received the Master’s of Arts Degree in English; Grambling College, 1967, English Education.
She was previously a STAR Evaluator for Teacher Assessment for the State of Louisiana and Lead Consultant in Church-Based Education with the State of LA. In 1994, 1995 and 1996 she received the Test Awareness honors. She published the Starr Model of a Comprehensive Approach to Standardized Tests, 1994 (copyrighted).
